#NowPlaying #StarkReality Here’s a story. Hoagy Carmichael’s son wanted to make a kid themed TV show for a PBS station (WGBH, Boston) in 1970. So he hired #MontyStark (vibraphone), #PhilMorrison (bass), #VinnieJohnson (drums), and a very young #JohnAbercrombie (guitar) to record jazz-funk interpretations of his father’s songs from a 1958 kids LP.
