I've seen a lot of arguments about which season of Vinland Saga is better. To me, they're about the same. Both excel at very different things and are worth watching. But, if I had to choose, I prefer Season 2.

Vinland Saga Season 2 might not have nearly as much action as Season 1. But, if you like character-driven stories, you'll enjoy this season a lot.

The majority of the main cast in Vinland Saga Season 2 is brand new. And there are a lot of great characters among them. Snake and Arnheid are my favorites.

Vinland Saga Season 2, or Farmland Saga, as the arc is known, is very different than Season 1. It's not a story of revenge. It's a story about the human cost of war and the road to recovery.

Are we going to get some young Askeladd content in Vinland Saga Season 3? Probably not. And I explain why in my review of Season 2 Episode 24.

While I still think Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 24 was good, I could have done without the cartoon violence comedy. It doesn't really fit the tone of the series.

CW: Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 20 Spoilers
The episode title was definitely not encouraging anyone, going into it. "Pain" :btr_bocchi_pain: .
They did the same thing with Arnheid's death that they did with Thors, turning the background white and only showing the characters. I wonder if they also did this when Askeladd died, I'm not remembering.

CW: Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 18 Spoilers
Well that was painful to watch, to say the least.
Also, I'm surprised we just skipped over Thorfinn and Leif's reunion like that. I understand that the current situation didn't allow for much conversation, besides the fact that Leif already knew he was allowed to free Thorfinn and Einar. But I would've expected at least a surprised look from one to the other as they were on their way.

I decided that for this week's #AnimangaFoundIt, since it's a bit different, to go with which one I see first.
Perhaps choosing to go ahead and watch #VinlandSaga might've given a large advantage to finding a sword and not a pen. Ah well.
This is a scene of Olmar pulling his sword out in Episode 11 of #VinlandSagaSeason2.

Angry Einar for this week's challenge, from episode 8 of #VinlandSagaSeason2

i really like the Vinland Saga Season 2 OP. Both the song and the visuals. 3 out of 3 great OPs for Vinland Saga so far.
And it's less than 2 days until the full version releases :spyfam_anya_delighted:
