#EddyMerckx however has been tested positive at least 3 times! It’s unfair how no journalist ever brings that up. -
As I watched the beautiful #Arte documentary about #EddyMerckx I wonder again why so much hatred against people who excel at their thing. It’s the same with #Vingegaard or #Pogacar today. Assuming they are clean, they just do what they are good at. And actually paid for. In the end, cycling is only so much a team sport. There’s only one 1st place. You don’t stop a kilometre before the line to let others pass.
