#Vinaigrette is the most absurd "ingredient". I reject the whole concept of it.
How is it legal? What reasons can possibly justify its existence, let alone its usage in a food establishment? What admissible purpose was ever achieved by using/listing it as ingredient, instead of its constituents directly?
Mayonnaise at least does something you can't easily reproduce. Vinaigrette is despicable beyond redemption.
I'm just daydreaming about lettuce and researching salad tips like these winners from Lan Lam:
Thing about #artichokes is they’re basically just giant thistles tat you have to boil for like forever and even then finding out if they’re done involves asbestos gloves.
Then you get the meanest morsel from the base of each leaf.
But dipped in #vinaigrette and … 🤩
Was out and about driving Blaze around and got confirmation for her new shoes. Tried the grilled chicken apple & pecan salad at Wendy's & it was good not great. Lots going on, blue cheese, dried cranberries... I find the chopped/ reformed chicken pieces less than convincing, also in their grilled ranch wrap.

Behold! My mum's spinach #salad dressing recipe. Great if you like an assertive #vinaigrette
2T red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, halved
1t each: salt, sugar, dry mustard
1/4t ground black pepper
4-6T olive oil
Add things in that order so the garlic has a minute or two to sit in the vinegar, then shake it up and serve.
I pine for more #salad and #SaladDressing action on here, so I'm going to #BeTheChange and offer my fave #vinaigrette recipe
