Another day at the repair café and you will never guess, but I got owned by a power circuit again. And this time there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, it was just that the barrel jack plug was detachable to allow reversing the polarity, and it was plugged the wrong way around. We realized that after several minutes of pointless probing and desoldering. There was a diagram indicating the polarity, which I ignored, of course. I really need to up my game.

The thingy is coming along nicely. Took about 4 (short) days of work so far, with 2 to 6 people working on it at any given time. About 15 contributors in total, I think. Sure, if we had the budget, a small team of professionals could probably finish this in an afternoon, but it's nice to have people from all walks of life come and make their contributions as we get to know each other.

Volunteered at the urban farm today. At one point we were three volunteers and one intern, and while talking we realized that all four of us are/were computer touchers in one way or another, who are fed up with modern computers and AI, and decided to do some farming for a change.
Anyway, here is what we worked on today. It is going to be a machine room/storage room for the bar, which is the farm's main revenue stream currently.
