If you are NOT acquainted with Villa-Lobos, here is a sample of one of my fave of his works, "The Caipira's Little Train" (*)
* - "Caipira" is a native Br word, Tupi, meaning "those who live near river", as opposed to "caiçara" standing for "those who live near sea". Often applies to peoples living in the middle of nowhere, who have never left the place of their birth, with no contact with the world abroad.

#ClassicalMusic #VillaLobos I randomly thought to seek out a video recording of this concerto, which is one of my favorites. This one starts out a little slower than the Cristina Ortiz recording I'm used to, but I quickly got over that.
