The more I think about it, I don't understand the logic of this entire fiasco at all. If #SecureNet was a free service for all internet plans, it should work on dynamic IP plans. How did it get tied to our static IP when we requested one as an add-on?
Implementing customer lock-in through painful customer experience is NOT the way to do business #Viewqwest. Please do better.

Having terrible experience with #viewqwest #singapore #ISP on my corporate network.
They signed us up for something known as "SecureNet" which is supposed to be a cybersecurity solution for SMEs.
Here's what it does in reality: it's a MITM attack on your DNS requests which are then parsed by *THEIR* DNS servers. This bypasses any DNS servers defined by IP address on your router. The only thing that may possibly work is DNS-over-HTTPs or DNS-over-TLS (but our router doesn't support :/).
