    #Tobacco use detectable in #archaeological #teeth 🚬
    Our #bioarchaeological research project in cooperation with the @univienna and the #ViennaBiocenter with funding from the #BABAO has developed a new method to detect tobacco use in archaeological #skeletons - using tooth #dentin!

    The study analysed teeth from #soldiers who died at the #Battle of #Wagram in 1809 during the #FifthCoalitionWar
