[P] My partner and I were looking at Halo 2 vs. 3 as an example of the enshittification that happens when chasing unimaginative hiverarchy. Halo 2: MC looks like a lanky nerdy, you get to play an alien(!), it can be funny, and it hasngreat writing. 3: MC is a beefcake with a giant man-phallus cannon, it's dull-as-dishwater, it takes itself too seriously, and have I mwntioned how dull it is? It's such a shift, and just... endemic of that enshittification.

[P] Hrnn... Another thing about hiverarchy is how easily distracted they are. I don't mean in the "Look, shiny jangly keys!" way that can work on cats and myself, but more the... redirection of will. So you'll get marketers who're masters of prestidigitation, of slight-of-hand, who can turn a wrongdoer into a victim. As an abuse victim, I've seen how easy that is. So, I'm look at the "leak" and wondering... Why did they do it? This was absolutely manufactured.

Moin meine #Mastonauten, ich bin dieses Jahr seit Ewigkeiten (Abgesehen von Corona) nicht auf der #GamesCom, weil ich fand, dass sich das letzte Jahr komplett nicht gelohnt hat.
Daher wollte ich dieses Jahr beobachten und sehen, ob es sich wieder lohnt.
Bisher sieht es nicht so aus, abwarten...

Vor gut 20 Jahren war #TalesOfSymphonia für den #GameCube eines meiner Lieblingsgames, zu dem ich mir damals auch den Spielberater holte ... 🥰
Bei unserem gestrigen Shoppingtrip fiel mir dann die Chosen Edition für die #Switch in die Hände & ich habe sie mitgenommen ... 🤗
Am Abend kramte ich gleich mal das Buch raus ... 😎
Nun ist alles wieder komplett & vor allem ordentlich spielbar ... 😊
