1995 Disney Home Video: Vintage Airwaves Hit
Remember when Disney VHS warnings came with that unmistakable late-night cable vibe? This 1995-era anti-piracy spot slid a “The Lion King” tape front and center and called out illegal cassettes with a blunt, “poor quality” punch. It’s a throwback to the days when you protected your favorite stories—and your collection—one rented/owned tape at a time.

Betamax, no less! Looks like it was used to record #DoctorWho back in the Long Ago...
Cinta VHS cargando (Editado).
So here's the thing: I started recording movies on VHS again, like you did back in the day. Now I'd love to put them in a plastic case and print out a nice label that makes them look like a retail film. So I could do the measurements myself and do something in Photoshop, but maybe there is someone out there who already did something I can use with just a few clicks? Not talking about those cardboard VHS boxes, I've found these, but that's not what I'm after. If you know anything, thanks for letting me know.

I found communities that will take off air TV #videocassette recordings with commercials. They also love newscasts, PBS pledge drives, you name it as long as it was recorded off air.
Please feel free to forward this post to others who might be interested. Let's keep these old #VHS tapes (and #Betamax) tapes circulating. Links below
1. Send me a direct message. I collect and digitize science fiction / fantasy convention footage and fan videos or song tapes

2. Contact Uncommon Ephemera who digitizes video cassettes and posts them to the #InternetArchive (his main focus is preserving educational video #FilmStrips, but he also digitizes video cassettes)
3. Join this Facebook group, these individuals are collectors not digitizers but they're thrilled to receive donations
Dead media: found this old Betamax video cassette behind some books on a shelf in my old bedroom back home, looks like some 1980s #DoctorWho taped on it.
Hard to grasp in digital, on-demand era, but being able to record TV to watch later was such a treat back then.
