#Animation produced by me for Sesi Lab's Night Lab, where it was displayed on a 11.5m by 9m screen.
The #videoart piece investigates the relationship between #body and #movement by tracking points on the human body in practices such as #capoeira, #streetdance, and #ballet.
I used #Blender #GeometryNodes to generate #3D trails from the geometry of an animated model. The motion capture animations are from Mixamo:

The system is really expensive (eBay scalpers,) but the cartridge was $4 (plus a lot more in shipping) so I worked things backwards until I could get a dump. I'm not confident the dump is *good*, but it matches the dump I got from desoldering the ROM, so at least that part is working.
If I find a system, I think it is probably also within the bounds of being clone-able. If you have an LJN Video Art system or cartridges lying around, I would like to borrow them to dump everything. Please get in touch.
