Ordered Balance of Power. Circa 1986. 5 ¼ inch truly floppy #retrogaming disks. For which USB drives "are rare or nonexistent". Welp, if I can't get it to run now, I couldn't get it to run on the #VictorVI, so at least, so at least there would be symmetry.
Starflight I'll get later, if only to HANG THE MAP ON THE WALL.
Why these two games haven't been made available to a contemporary audience is beyond me. I haven't even seen any attempts...! I have BRUITED them!

My second experience with #RetroComputing was an illicit #VictorVI from #Sirius (Sirius Systems Technology). Modem hiss. #Zork. #StarFlight. #BalanceOfPower I lusted after, #ColdWar kid that I was, but alas! the fucking thing was a jury-rigged nightmare in order to be #IBMpcCompatible.. Those were the days... #LinuxStarFlight #LinuxBalanceOfPower prithee.
