  2. I loved this segment of #VictorianFarm [begins at 7:30] -- #plaiting straw, with the end result being a straw hat! I've made #Brigid's crosses with straw, but always to wanted to make something bigger -- like a basket. I also found some web pages and videos for smaller projects that I'll be posting today!

  3. Ooooh... Watched #VictorianFarm on the new 1080 TV. I could even read the text of the books! Wow! Very impressed!

  4. One thing I'm getting from watching shows like #VictorianFarm, #EdwardianFarm, #TudorMonasteryFarm, and even #IronChef -- is making the most out of all parts of critters. #IndigenousPeoples did that as well. If we're going to eat meat / fish, then we should aim for using as much as we can for food, and make sure the rest doesn't go to waste!

  5. Well, good thing I learned the Victorian-Age secret for removing ink from clothing (pre-soaking in milk). I'm about to re-learn #calligraphy! And yeah. I learned a LOT from #VictorianFarm tonight!

  6. We just started #VictorianFarm. Learning a lot about the old ways, and the beginnings of the #IndustrialAge. Very #Steampunk! (Unfortunately, that series has been blocked on YT in the US, so watching it on another platform).

  7. My queer ass watching Victorian Farm and trying desperately to not be weird about the attractiveness of Peter Ginn #VictorianFarm

  8. Watching : “Peter and Alex are about to try a revolutionary Victorian invention: The Cornwalloper”

Peter: “With this invention, one man could wallop 14 times more corn than 10 traditional farmers. Astounding.”
