Viasat-3 is a constellation of 3 geostationary Ka-band communications satellites, that will provide broadband connectivity to customers around the Globe.
Unlike LEO satellite constellations like Starlink, just 3 GEO satellites can cover the Earth, although latency is higher. These satellites are fairly large at 6,400 kg and draw over 30 kw of power each. The payload is built by Viasat, the rest of the spacecraft is built by Boeing.

Two hours later, launch of the Viasat-3 Americas satellite (and a couple of smaller satellites) on Falcon Heavy to geo-sync orbit got scrubbed at T-00:00:59. Cause unknown. They will try again on Saturday at 7:29 p.m. EDT.
