Несмотря на то, что видеокассеты уже давно вышли из повседневной жизни, услуги по их оцифровке продолжают пользоваться спросом. Кассеты с любительскими записями есть почти в каждой семье, и рано или поздно их нужно перевести в цифру, ведь срок жизни магнитной ленты ограничен. Зимой 2025 года в мои руки попало 35 кассет формата VHS и VHS-C из семейного архива, и встала задача по их оцифровке. С учетом того, что на каждой кассете было записано приблизительно по 60 минут видео, а средний ценник услуг по захвату сейчас составляет 400 рублей в час, общая стоимость конвертации составила бы около 14 тысяч рублей. Эта сумма показалась мне слишком большой, и было решено сделать все самостоятельно. В данной статье я хочу рассказать об относительно новом методе оцифровки видеокассет, на котором я остановился, и сравнить его с классическими подходами.

@avavsystems 😱🤩 I still remember. Back when I was a little boy, my dad came home one wonderful day with a huge box. Inside was... a #SL8000.

The analoguesound quality and the slow automatic level control have been a bit tiring at times, but I'm still in love today. Even though I've been recording & shooting in #VHS / #VHSc for several years.

Last week I received this analog camcorder as a gift. Today's evening I brought the pretty, 30 years old lady (built 02/95) back to life:

The camera has only been used a few times over the years and I didn't even have to clean the head drum. I just regenerated the grease of the capstan bearing and adjusted the tape transport a bit.

Now I just have to dust it off a bit, then it'll actually be like new again. I'm looking forward to using the camera extensively at the harbor in spring and summer... 🤩😍

Würde die SD-Qualität nicht künstlich verschlechtert/niedrig gehalten, bräuchte ich HD beim TV übrigens nur selten. :wink:

Habe heute, weil ich die eingelegte #VHSc Kassette, für meine Datenträger Sammlung wollte, eine Panasonic Kamera zerlegt. Ein spannendes 3D rückwärts Puzzle das die meiste Zeit aus „such die Schraube“ bestand. Das geile war das es nur Kreuzschlitz gab. Nichts geklebt oder so. Richtig #oldskool #retro Die Batterie der Uhr war nach über 25 Jahren nicht ausgelaufen, #respekt
