My son’s robotics team (95133F “Onyx”) won an event in Ohio, and now are qualified for the #vexiq world championship in Dallas later this year.(The 11yo is the one on the far left.)

Tues eve I once again went to the same #thrift shops as the previous week, just UWS franchises thereof.#thriftfu #litotimancy delivered me:
• 8 books (3 GNs);
• 2 CDs;
• 5 LPs;
• 2 tees;
• 2 VHSes;
• 4 DVDs (incl s1-3 of THE HANDMAID'S TALE);
• pineapple-shaped tea lights (set of 6);
• set of stencils;
• 3 buttons;
• a #Snoopy & #CharlieBrown #Peanuts diorama; and
• a #HexBug #VexRobotics kit, condition unknown.Total #tithe = ~$95.

Wir gratulieren: Das Rockys MiddleSchool-Team erreichte in den "Skills" Platz von 109 von 787 Teams und in der Teamworkchallenge Platz 30!
Nach einer sensationellen Abschlussveranstaltung wurde die Aufgabenstellung für die neue Saison vorgestellt. Dann nach #VEXRobotics ist vor #VEXRobotics: Die Rockys konnten direkt eines der neuen Spielfelder ergattern und auch der Roboter für die neue Saison ist fast schon fertig. 😆Am Freitag geht es wieder nach Hause. Gute Reise! -
Update aus Dallas: Das Rocky-Team Kategorie HighSchool konnte heute die letzten beiden Spiele in der Teamwork Challenge für sich entscheiden und landete hier auf Platz 60. Bei den "Skill" erreichten sie den 109. Platz von 811 Teams.
Wir gratulieren zu dieser tollen Leistung!
Am Sonntag geht es für das jüngere Team weiter!

Another weekend of robotics. Today is a #vexrobotics competition in Candia. A good problem of being crowded with a bunch of participants and spectators. 21 teams competing today over 6 hours in paired collaborative matches, and individual skills challenges including an autonomous run.
