Years ago, I was talking about chickens with someone when they suddenly started talking about how cute it was when hens breastfed chicks. I kinda gaped at them with a slack jaw when I realized they weren’t kidding. What made it much, MUCH worse was that they were in school studying to be a vet tech.
I had to give them a remedial biology lesson about the differences between birds and mammals.
They ended up not becoming a vet tech, after all. Can’t imagine why. #education #biology #mammals #birds #VetTech
