Looking forward to the weekend. Here’s hoping that #Pourchaire can avoid any disasters and head back to the front of the championship points table. Might be a tight one between him and #Vesti tomorrow and Sunday.

Off to #F1 qualifiers then in 50 minutes. Might have to watch it later though.

Homoj naskiĝas nudaj. Tio eble ne veras pri riĉuloj, kiuj onidire naskiĝas kun brakhorloĝo kaj multekostaj ŝuoj, sed ni, ordinaruloj, naskiĝas nudaj. Kiam oni faras el nuda homo nenudan homon, oni vestas ĝin. Ordinare tio signifas, ke oni kovras ĝin per teksaĵojn, kiujn ĝi portu sur la korpo.

La nuda vortero »vest« esprimas agon: la agon vesti. Vestaĵo estas aĵo, per kiu oni ordinare vestas personon. Ĉemizo, pantalono, mantelo, kaj ĉapelo estas apartaj vestaĵoj. Vesto estas ĉiuj vestaĵoj, kiujn persono portas. Kiam oni vestas personon, oni ne kreas novan vestaĵon – oni prenas vestaĵojn, kiuj jam ekzistas, kaj kreas el ili novan veston. La manifestiĝo de vestado ne estas unu vestaĵo, sed vesto – ĉiuj portataj vestaĵoj kune. »Vesto« kaj »vestaĵo« estas do kunmetaĵoj kun malsamaj signifoj.

Kiam homo estas tre juna, plej ofte vestas ĝin aliaj homoj. Kiam ĝi kreskas, ĝi ordinare komencas vesti sin mem. Kaj kiam ĝi estas tre maljuna, kaj ĝia korpo ne plu funkcias bone, refoje vestas ĝin aliaj homoj - eble tiuj homoj, kiujn ĝi vestis, kiam ili estis ankoraŭ tro junaj. Tiel iras la fazoj de vivo!
