Good morning from #Asheville, #NC where it is currently 8F outside and clear, with calm winds.

From a strictly personal point of view, the sunroom is 22, the attic is 14 (but the HVAC unit continues to run, and drain) and the bedroom was 53. Water is successfully flowing and the coffee is hot.

I hope everyone else has managed to stay warm and safe in this very cold time.

The next couple of days are a bit of a breather before another precip mess and then another cold dip.

It was cold (-20C windchill) when we went birding this morning. Winter birding is the best ... and sometimes the hardest. Most birds were hunkered down but I really liked this tree that had no birds in it.
