Muss man auch erst auf die Idee kommen, eine Totenmesse als Konzertfassung zu komponieren, deshalb ffenbar scherzhaft „#Verdis beste Oper“. Zum Teil recht modern BV anmutende Melodien, aber Uraufführung war ja 1874, da wurde ja schon am Gotthard gebaut.
Der Einstieg war recht anstrengend, nachher ging es dann, halt nicht eingängig. -
