Had a fabulous time in Pavia today - we visited the tombs of Augustine and Boethius, saw the church where Barbarossa was crowned, watched parakeets nesting in the medieval skyscrapers and had a guided tour by a Carthusian monk. #Vercelli2024

We’re working with some amazing #medieval #manuscripts there (including the Vercelli Book!), but also with modern technologies like #multispectral imaging and endoscopy.
