going to Italy for lunch,
I am going to miss living so close to Italy. we have a favorite restaurant in ventimiglia that we visit a few times per year.
ventimiglia is the first Italian city by the border and they have a great street market every Friday.
just found out that I can buy a day pass for 20 euro and up to 8 people can travel with that card for an extra 5 euro each.
that's a huge discount compared to the 25 euro per person return tickets.
Doris is of course want to buy parmesan cheese and glass cover for her phone and Italian gelatos.

Anche nuovo: From today, the evening Regionale Veloce service from #Milano 20:25 ๐ฎ๐น to #Alassio 23:59 has been extended to #Ventimiglia 00:50 on Fridays and Saturdays, creating a year-round direct regional service Milano-Ventimiglia.
Until now, direct regional services ran only during the summer period ('Treni del Mare'). The train departs from Milano C.le 20 min later than the last direct IC service of the day with a journey time ~30 min longer.

Yet, in most cases, thereโs a multi-purpose car with vending machines and an area with bar stools. The espresso coffee, it costs 1.30 Euros, is actually quite decent.โ๏ธ๐
