One bit of good news, rescuers were able to extract a man from the rubble in Venezuala, 8 days after the earthquakes. The man is in stable condition. What an ordeal! Amazing work by the rescuers.

Antiwar protesters in DC yell "US out of DC Now!"
This protest originally scheduled for the Capitol was moved to the west end of town and marched on the Kennedy Center that Trump has censored and put his foul name on.
This had to be moved because of the threat posed by all those MAGA meatheads and full-on Nazis at the Capitol. A dedicated counterprotest handled confronting them earlier in the day.
This was not just about the occupation of #Venezuala after all that has happened! It was also about the occupation of #DC itself by Trump's troops.

The US attack on #Venezuala bears no resemblance to even how Bush and Blair consulted on invasion of Iraq.
Elite US Congress committee that is supposed to be informed of this kind of act of war was not informed because it was claimed it was ‘leaky’…but they’ve never leaked, unlike Pete Hegseth.
So the notion that #Trump is going to explain his case in legal terms to the international community is for the birds.

Two things should be clear to other world leaders as the Tangerine Tyrant continues his actions to 'capture' not so much the President of Venezuela as the country's oil reserves.
1. Recall, how Govt.s deal with the weak or vulnerable is how they'd like to deal with all of us... elevate that to the global dimension & the threat of Trump is clear;
2. Failure to condemn Trump's actions in Venezuela, lower the political barriers to adventurism & permit further rogue actions.

US aggression towards Venezuela isn't new:
In 2002 US backed Pedro Carmona after the military kidnapped Hugo Chavez. That coup didn't work, popular uprisings restored Chavez two days later.
Obama & Trump (1) imposed sanctions that impacted Venezuelans & allowed Chavez to toughen the state in response.
Such economic warfare continued under Biden & created the 'dictatorship' Trump now has 'toppled'.
Its the old imperialist one-two for the C21st

Early AM on the 3ed of July, the US began bombing Caracas in Venezuala. Shortly therafter Trump announced his forces had captured and kidnapped Venezuala's president.
Protesters deployed in cities from coast to coast. One of these protests was held in Tampa, FL-in drenching rain.
Whatever the situation in Venezuala the previous day, the US has ZERO jurisdiction. As for why Trump invaded, remember that this has nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with OIL.
Trump is a Nazi and is doing exactly what Nazis do from opening concentration camps to starting wars of conquest.

In Maduro capture operation, the Trump administration relied on Bill Barr’s (discredited) 1989 memo claiming a President can disregard the #UN Charter.
That is a loaded gun. The #legal analysis is utterly flawed.
