I managed to pay £3.85 for a single can of coke in a Toby Carvery in Middlesbrough 😳 (this is probably because they want the punter to pay an extra 50p or so for their unlimited soft-drink refills; for example a normal pot of tea is still £1.85... Still, menu first *then* order drinks 🤦 )

Would love to see a spreadsheet of lifetime income/outgoings of one of those fancy coffee (starbucks/costa) vending machines. I reckon if there's a way to deliver a takeaway coffee cheaper, in a period of economic contraction, it's some kind of automat.

caffettistica truffa delle macchine universitarie (la macchinetta del caffè rotta mi ha rovinato la giornata)

Oggi, la giornata pareva aver incalzato un piede giusto (si può dire? boh!) — o, quantomeno, non marcio — sembrava che per una buona volta io potessi non soffrire — almeno, tolto il fattore meteo, che dalla sera alla sera stessa (letteralmente!) si è riconfigurato coi pinguini, e se adesso sono a casa senza un raffreddore cosmico è solo per un colpo di fortuna; anche se, comunque sia, a giudicare dallo stato della Luna, sono abbastanza sicura che il giorno in cui morirò di congelamento non sarà in questa settimana… Ma no, ecco, qualcosa pur doveva andare storto: il caffè alla merdiversità. 💔

Ciò che è successo è tanto semplice quanto da film italiano, e cioè che la macchinetta — evidentemente messa lì e comandata da degli assoluti sciacalli truffatori, e mannaggia alla meccanica e alla rivoluzione industriale — dopo essersi presa i miei preziosi 60 centesimi, luccicanti di oro come sono (ok, no, i miei sono sporchi e opachi, ma non è questo il punto!!!), mi ha fatto il caffè per terra. ZIO caffettista: 3-5% di caffè nel bicchierino di merda, un’altra porzione equivalente fuori tutto sull’esterno dello stesso, e il resto tra piano della macchinetta e pavimento dell’atrio! E quindi sono rimasta non solo senza monetine accuratamente selezionate, ma anche senza caffè, a parte un sorso più misero della goccia d’acqua nel deserto del famoso meme, mentre mi sono portata a casa una tristezza che ragà, vi giuro, non mi merito!!! (Chiedo scusa per la foto mezza cagosa, e del fatto che sia solo al pavimento.) 😭

Ora, a onor del vero, avrei forse dovuto sentire una puzza dalla macchinetta di oggi, perché a terra era tutto sporco di caffè… ma mettetevi anche nei miei panni, prima di accusarmi come al solito di problemi di skill. Come potrei io mai fottutamente pensare che una cosa del genere, per giunta in un luogo dove non è la prima volta che si vede caffè per terra — perché a questa università maledetta evidentemente sono tutti menomati e lo fanno cadere di continuo (e si, anche lontano dalle macchinette in genere, quindi palesi errori umani); e infatti il pattern non sembra quello di una perdita, bensì quello di schizzi su schizzi — sia dovuta ad un malfunzionamento di una macchina che non ho mai personalmente notato non funzionare, e che ovviamente non aveva accanto alcun misero cartello per indicare il problema??? 🦂

Non mi sono nemmeno tanto incazzata lì, ma mi è venuto assolutamente da piangere un pochino, perché maremma bona… e ancora dopo, scrivendo, sarei estremamente frustrata e voglio piangere (anche se le lacrime che mi escono sono ancora meno del caffè che ho potuto bere, il che mi porta ovviamente a stare ancora peggio), tant’è che anche solo per iniziare a scrivere ho dovuto mettermi storta comoda sul letto, sennò non c’è parola che usciva; solo respiri. (Attenzione: ho scritto ore fa, ma ho pubblicato solo adesso perché prima ero fuori, poi ho cenato… fate finta io abbia inviato alle 18-19.) E boh, in realtà stavolta la chiudo qui, perché altrimenti diventerei solo più triste con ogni cosa che cerco di dire meglio… ma prima, aggiungerò un dettaglio: se volessi giocare d’azzardo, i miei soldi li andrei a spendere per un gratta e vinci… o, in altre parole, se i miei soldi li spendo alla macchinetta del caffè, è perché non voglio sprecarli in scommesse; perché cazzo allora ho dovuto subire una scommessa a mia insaputa e perderla??? 💣💣💣

Vabbè: incarcerare tutti i fornitori di macchinette subito? Forse direi di si, anche perché non penso rivedrò mai questi maledetti 60 centesimi di Caffè Borbone (ora rivelatosi caffè birbone…), nonostante i miei diritti di consumatrice palesemente violati, ma pensavo ad una rogna più grande… Come cazzo è possibile che in giro non ci sono bidelli, “collaboratori scolastici” o chi per essi? Cioè, se io a mie maledettissime spese mi accorgo che la macchinetta non funziona, a chi minchia mi devo rivolgere quantomeno per far sì che venga staccata o segnalata, evitando così che altra gente caschi nel disastro? Ma anche, se un giorno esplode un cesso e si allaga un intero bagno, a chi lo si riferisce per ridurre al più presto il disservizio e mettere la roba in sicurezza? Io non ne ho idea, i numeri di telefono che stanno affissi un po’ in giro non sono per questo, a giudicare dai nomi… e comunque, non ci sono guardiole con gente dentro o buffi figuri seduti agli angoli dei muri. (…Se un giorno qualcuno piazzerà una bomba, qui moriamo tutti, perché non c’è a chi rivolgersi per problemi immediati.) 💩
