Kreuzung im neuen #Stadttunnel von #Zürich, einem neuen, reinen #Velotunnel unterm #ZürichHB, der durch Umnutzung eines ehemaligen Autobahntunnels unter dem Bahnhof entstand, dessen zugehörige Autobahn vor vielen Jahrzehnten vom Volk an der Urne abgelehnt wurde und dessen Röhren seither nur sporadisch als Lager- oder Vortragsraum genutzt wurde.

Hab's heute etwas früher aus dem Büro #rausgeschafft und bin zur Eröffnung des #Velotunnel unterm #ZürichHB geradelt, einem ehemaligen aber nie als solchen genutzten Autobahntunnel. Im Tunnel war's mir aber zu gefährlich, um während der Eröffnungsrunden für Fotos anzuhalten.
Dafür gibt's Fotos vom Start und #Velo-Stau vor dem Tunnel.
Habe beim Fachsimpeln am Stand von https://www.alpencamper.ch/ dann sogar noch @Kolkrabin getroffen.

Neuer #Velotunnel: Einst für eine geplante Autobahn quer durch #Zürich erstellt, wird die hergerichtete Röhre nun exklusiv fürs Fahrrad freigegeben.
Der #Stadttunnel wird täglich Tausenden von Radler:innen als sichere Verbindung zwischen dem Industriequartier und Aussersihl dienen – anstelle der gefährlichen Fahrt rund um den verkehrsreichen Hauptbahnhof. So geht #Verkehrswende! -
