Any #Velogames players out there? I play and am mostly terrible at it, but the biggest issue I am having is the lack of community. Seems like there should be some tribe members out there and I would like to find some.
If you would like to have some cycling discussion involving Velogames (or any other fantasy #Procycling games) I would love to hear from you. I like the competition of Velogames, but I would like even better to learn more about and discuss the ins and outs of pro cycling.

Mein Team für den #Giro bei #Velogames kreiert. Beim ersten Durchgang waren noch 12 Punkte übrig, also nochmal ändern. Kein Bock mit #Roglic und #Ayuso teilzunehmen, selbst mit der Kombi bekäme man noch ein starkes Team für den Rest hin.

I have had OK success in #Velogames from time to time, but would like to do better. So, I thought I would start posting my proposed team here and some thoughts and see if that generates some discussion (I hope!) that might help me improve in my thinking.
So here is my team for the Fantasy Sixes Sparkassen Münsterland Giro:
1. Philipsen
2. Girmay
3. Milan
4. Lamperti
5. Vernon
6. HagenesObviously this is a sprint heavy race. I am not so sure about Philipsen, it seems that maybe his last couple of races were not outstanding. Milan might be in that position as well. Hagenes is not a pure sprinter type, but he has been very strong lately and is a pretty quick finisher.
Any other ideas???

Being unsure about the form of Roglic and also his proclivity to crash, I left him off my #Velogames team for #LaVuelta2024 . I went with Almeida. Sad that he is out. Even sadder, Covid has reared it's ugly head in the poloton again. The Tour dodged a bullet, I think. We'll see if the Vuelta can be as lucky.

As today's stage begins in the #Giro (I'll be watching it later on replay) just wanted to give my (too late!) rest day summary.
Considering that Pogi is running away with the GC so far, this has actually been a fantastic Giro! Pretty much every stage has been dramatic and interesting. When was the last time you saw someone in the Pink Jersey doing a spring lead out? Been lots of fun to watch!
On the other hand, my #VeloGames team has been decimated. I thought I did pretty well picking some up and coming climbers, Lipowitz, Lutsenko, Lopez, APP. Two have already dropped out and Lopez was apparently sick Stage 9. All I really have left is Pog and Milan.
At least the whole thing is great to watch!

I think I am not taking #Remco for my #Argave #Velogames team. A bit pricey at 26 credits and it looks like all but one of the stages could end in a bunch sprint. Also, he didn't start all that hot last year.
I think #Wout has a chance in every stage, so is better value.
