Why yes, I have turned off the mains grid power to earn money from my local utility’s “Peak Power Event”.
Supposedly, I’ll earn $1 for every kWh I don’t use compared to normal.
it’s a shame they didn’t increase that to $1.18 (they put prices up last month by 18%).
Imagine if everyone could do this? We’d negate the use of peaker power plants!

Gibt es bereits Systeme, die das unterstützen? Lässt sich die Funktion nachrüsten oder muss ich dann die gesamte Anlage von Wallbox und Wechselrichter auswechseln? 🤔

Nur zur Klarstellung: Das ist AFAIK ein Video von einem unbekannten Youtuber über einen unbekannten Photovoltaik-Nutzer. Wahrscheinlich liest keiner von denen hier mit.
Aber ich habe selbst eine ähnliche Anlage und seit 2016 mehrfach über Nachinstallation von lokalem Speicher nachgedacht. Jedesmal war das Ergebnis der Überlegungen und Rechnungen, dass sich ein #Stromspeicher zu den jeweils aktuellen Konditionen für meine individuelle Situation schlicht nicht rechnet. Das kann sich je nach Preisentwicklung für die Speicher und Bezugskosten für Strom noch ändern, aber bislang war das bei weitem nicht so. Frag gern dazu mal im Photovoltaik-Forum nach...
Hinzu kommt die Umweltbelastung für die Erzeugung der Speicher.
Ich denke stattdessen über #V2H nach, also die Anschaffung eines eAutos, welches über bidirektionales Laden parallel zur Nutzung als Fahrzeug auch als Akku für das Haus genutzt werden kann. Zwei Fliegen...
