Today we have a small but mighty 'fake fat' delight... Pasta alla Panna with Crispy Speck from "De Vegetarische Slager".
The vegan cream is by Alpro. I prepared a garlic, oil, and chili base, and made the vegan speck super crispy near the end. Added the cream and some vegan ParmGiano, a splash of pasta water, and the creamy texture is guaranteed !!!!I have been #vegan for 28 years. I was 20 when I decided to stop making my food suffer, and YES I'm still alive! 😉
