Has anyone had any experience or luck with planting marigolds to repel pests in their veggie garden? I bought some marigold seeds & seedlings and the slugs and snails have attacked the seedlings and munched them down to sad little green sticks. At this point it looks like they’re attracting pests rather than repelling! Or are they only good for sorting out nematodes in the soil rather than above ground pests? I hadnt even got the veggies IN yet! #homegrown #gardening #garden #veggiepatch #vegetables
