Die SALS ist ein regelmäßiges Treffen an unterschiedlichen Standorten für Tonschaffende, Studierende und alle, die sich für Spatial Audio interessieren. Gemeinsam hören wir Mehrkanal- und 3D-Audioproduktionen und tauschen uns darüber aus.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is conducting a survey on spectrum usage for PMSE (wireless mics, intercom, wireless video, ...), to prepare for the upcoming World Radio Conferences. As you may have heard, the spectrum available for cultural purposes and events is continuously shrinking due to the demands of mobile communications and the military.

Das #ligetizentrum, der #vdt und die Student Section Hamburg der #aes laden zur Spatial Audio Listening Session #SALS in Hamburg Harburg ein.

Bei diesem zweistündigen Format werden mehrkanalige Audioproduktionen verschiedener Formate und Genres präsentiert. Bei einem Kaltgetränk ist es gewünscht, sich zwischen den Stücken über das Gehörte in der Runde auszutauschen. Im Nachgang des Programms besteht weiterhin die Möglichkeit zum offenen Austausch bei angenehmer Hintergrundmusik.

The VDT mentoring program is also open to speakers of other languages, as long as mentors and mentees with the required linguistic skills sign up. English will definitely be on the list.
