Mir geht es selbstverständlich nicht darum, dass nicht auch die #EU - Kommissionspräsidentin Ursula #vonderLeyen / #vdL kritisiert werden darf. Ich finde es jedoch krass, dass der Fossilist #Trump ständig mit #Aufmerksamkeit belohnt, aber der Einsatz der derzeit mächtigsten #Christdemokratin für die notwendige #Energiewende kaum wahrgenommen wird. I despise VDL, but I find it funny when people say VDL is enabling unchecked migration, when she's been actively partnering with authoritarian regimes in Africa, giving them money for them minimising migrant access to boats for sailling to Europe.

A prominent MEP -- Tiemo @woelken -- is suing the @EUCommission for "failing to adequately explain why it withdrew two pieces of EU legislation shortly after President Ursula von der Leyen met with U.S. Vice President JD Vance," according to Politico.

den die #EVP zusammen mit #Rechtsaußen-Parteien eingereicht hatte.
Einmalig in der Geschichte des #EUparlament.#Wahlversprechen von #vdL #vonderleyen @vonderleyen schon nach 2 Sitzungswochen gebrochen: nicht mit Kräften zu kooperieren, die gegen Ukraine, Rechtsstaat oder #Europa sind.

And how clear her cordon sanitaire against the far right (including ECR) is. To me, after all good #EUGreenDeal files, biggest challenge is unfinished #EUFarm2Fork with CAP re sustainable food systems & pesticides reduction. Ok, one Brussels re work related post: this week is the first plenary of the new @europarl in Strasbourg. MEPs most likely will elect @vonderleyen. Will be interesting to see what groups S&D, Renew & @EP_GreensEFA get for supporting her. And how clear her firewall against the far right (including ECR) is.
