Masculinity is hot, this Fringe. Size is bathed in testosterone, in ways both positive (conviction, physicality, and fraternity) and negative (catastrophic opinions about women). #VancouverFringe

BEHIND THE WALL: This musical about a smart home (or is it?) might be the first draft of something with legs. Flickers of good songwriting. None of the story beats really work and the ending is abrupt but it does try to build tension. Have the writers seen Antitrust (2001)? #VancouverFringe

COLONIAL CIRCUS: Hold on, there's more clowns? Recommended if you like (recorded) throat singing. Fun offbeat characters. I wished the skits knitted together. #VancouverFringe
