It's not going to happen, but I would _love_ for the new edition of #DarkSun to present multiple, conflicting explanations for details of the cataclysm that formed it.

I saw this as a WoD fan who adores detailed lore, but both #TrailOfCthulhu and #VampireTheRequiem changed my relationship with "deep lore" to something more fluid where "How does this impact the table?" is the most important question. Normalize changing the lore from table to table and game to game, based on what works best.

My #VampireTheRequiem #VTR storytellers, have any of you tried substituting nature and demeanor from #VampireTheMasquerade #VTM for virtue and vice?

I'm Thinking about when I finally get to run a #vampire game, and I'm trying to decide which system to use, VTR 1e or VTM 2e or revised. There are things I like about both and some things I dislike.

Tomorrow, we're starting module 5 of 6 of my #Pathfinder #RiseOfTheRunelords campaign. I never imagined I'd get this far through it when we started.

It's got me thinking about my gaming white whales.

I'd love to get to play #VampireTheMasquerade again at some point, but more likely, I'll be running #VampireTheRequiem

I'd love to go back and run some #AdvancedDungeonsAndDragons modules like the #Dragonlance #WarOfTheLance or the original #Ravenloft or things like that using #ADD2e or #CastlesAndCrusades.

#TTRPG players and GMs, what are you currently playing? What do you wish you were playing?

Currently running

- #Pathfinder 1e. Not a fan of the crunch, but it's for my wife
- Taking a short break from #MasksANewGeneration, a #PoweredByTheApocalypse #PBTA supers game but ready to dive back in to the GM seat at a moments notice
- #Trinity #Adventures game. Character creation was a headache compared to other #WOD #WorldOfDarkness games but the characters are fun
- Our #MonsterHearts2 game should be starting up again at some point

Wish I was playing
- #13thAge for the amount of say players get in world building
- #GURPS for the complete characters you get after creation, which CAN be a real chore
- #D6StarWars as it was one of the first games I played and I really like the system
- #CastlesAndCrusades #CNC for the old school style with modern sensibilities
- #VampireTheMasquerade or #VampireTheRequiem. I've got a #VTR campaign I want to run at some point, but I don't know if/when I'll get to it. A long term obsession I haven't had the chance to play in 15-20 some years at this point
- #StarTrek #LastUnicornGames. I like the way they handled life/career paths

I really want to play a 1e #VampireTheRequiem game where I start as a mortal and let the #Storyteller decide which clan would embrace the character and play within those bounds, just as a real person would in that situation.

Once I get done with my current #Masks and #Pathfinder #TTRPG campaigns, I want to finally run #VampireTheRequiem.

I have 1e and I picked up 2e since I kept reading how a lot of people prefer it and say it improved things.

So far I don't care for the writing style, I'm not interested in using the Strix, and I don't like the changes to disciplines or clan banes. Not really sure it's worth continuing to read it. I'll probably stick with 1e so I can use the core WoD book for generic games.

The #Pathfinder game yesterday went much better than the #Masks game on Friday.

On Friday, I gave the players two days in game to prepare to intercept a theft of several 3d printers instead of pushing them to the action right away. The campaign is of my own design.

Their decisions threw me off and there was a lot of OOC chatter that slowed everything down. I wasn't satisfied with how the game went.

Pathfinder is a published module.They were laser focused, to the point that they bypassed the main "dungeon" again to get to the boss first, but it worked out well. I dropped some more story exposition and pushed a lot of the campaign on.

I need to get my head wrapped around running my own original material better before I do the #VampireTheRequiem game I really want to run (since I can't find anyone running #Vampire around here).

This week's #MasksANewGeneration #Masks game is delayed on a count of player illness. Just hope they'll be good to go on Sunday for #Pathfinder.

Also making headway on my #VampireTheRequiem planning. I wish I was playing instead of running, but c'est la vie.

Happy 19th Anniversary to Vampire: The Requiem, released today at Gen Con 2004!

It's now officially run longer that Masquerade's first three editions, and it's one helluva thrilling and terrifying game.

Not bad for the awkward little sister. Who's now taken off her glasses and changed her hair.

I'm really feeling comfortable as our go to group #TTRPG #GM. We had a great #Pathfinder game last night. Next session, they investigate the terrors at Foxglove manor.

I really feel like I'm hitting my stride at the gaming table. Sure, I'd love to have someone run for me. I'd kill to play #VampireTheMasquerade or #VampireTheRequiem instead of running Requiem myself, but I'm also genuinely enjoying running the entertainment for everyone.

Looks like the #Pathfinder game is pushed back another couple of weeks but it does give me time to work on more prep for my #VampireTheRequiem #VTR campaign.

We completed the first module of the #RiseOfTheRunelords campaign, Burnt Offerings, last night. The players are enjoying the #Pathfinder game. There's just enough difference from 3rd ed D&D that I'm still dealing with the learning curve, but everyone is having fun.

We'll be taking a 3-4 week break for various vacations and we'll take an equally long downtime break in the campaign.

That gives me time to finish preparations for my #VampireTheRequiem game.

Currently reading One Thousand Years of Night... Very interesting take on elders. I have played an Elysium campaign in Vampire: the Masquerade, but this has a very different feel to it... Far more personal.

Would anyone be interested in a District series expanding on #Vampire's Damnation City?

Each one would detail an area of the city to use as a small sandbox, with locations like churches, clubs, businesses, and Kindred hangouts?

Those would be fleshed out with NPCs, plot hooks, etc.

Currently I'm running a #MasksTheNewGeneration (#Masks) trade/campaign, a #Pathfinder module/campaign, and I'm working hard to get myself ready to do a #VampireTheRequiem (#VtR) chronicle. Plus I've got a #FengShui campaign in my back pocket for quick games.

It's a heck of a responsibility, but I do love being able to entertain my friends. I must be doing something right to be blessed with so many players willing to listen to my nonsense.

I love getting to share my creativity with everyone!

Starting to read through the City of the Damned: New Orleans book for my #VampireTheRequiem chronicle. I really hope I can get that off the ground soon.

I've got so many players, I'm probably going to try and split them up into different sessions and let them filter back and forth. Otherwise, I'll have 7-8 players at a time, and that can be a bit much for some of my players.
