#VampireTheMasqueradeBloodlines2 There’s so much left in the table for VTMB2 that I'm shocked they did not choose to do some cool quests, locations, or havens.

I don't want to ruin anything, but, it was exceedingly a bummer that there was not a lot of cohesion.

That being said, let's talk about the actual writing of this game.

They really nailed the overall arc, and it was emotional at times, I was just concerned that they did not run with it and instead just allude.

The game has everything needed to be great, but grasps at it, which is at this point a curse I guess.

I finished #VampireTheMasqueradeBloodlines2 and I have some thoughts.

This is technically a sequel in that it follows the world and kind of the fighting.

What it is not, is a spiritual successor. The voice actors, and the story-telling liberties the first game took, were so bold, that they bankrupted the studio, and it was magical. We're talking the voice actor that does Bender in Futurama had a front row seat to a hilarious script and the story was sewn together masterfully, even if they ran out of time and budget.

The sequel is an OK game, and they cannot live up to the first game, because no game can live up to the first game, without bankrupting the company.

All this being said, if you like Vampire the Masquerade, and action games, give it a shot, else, steer away from it.
