Valley View mall area North Dallas would be pretty ideal for this big of an entertainment district aside from it not being downtown. But the Dallas Stars are likely going to Plano. So maybe downtown doesn't have the draw it once did.
“We want to open in 2031. That means we’re on the clock. Sounds like a long time, but for a 50-acre mixed-use entertainment district, an arena, public gathering places — we’re on the clock.”

Injuries: 69Approximately 200 homes in the tornados path sustained major or worse damage. An additional 100 homes sustained damage. The tornado was studied by the National Weather Service in Fort Worth and assigned an EF-2, with 135mph winds.

Seven people in Cooke County, Texas were killed when a tornado hit the area Saturday night.
Among the dead were 4 juveniles from two families;
a 2-year-old & a 5-year-old,
a 15-year-old & and a 9-year-old.
