Other early preparations for a future battle with Yagluth involved removing a Fuling village and planting a lot of birch trees. I may plant a lot more yet. #Valheim #ShareYourGames

Today in #valheim, my daughter and I rode at dawn (mind you, she is not the Lox in the screen shot). Our goal was to raid a Fuling Village. I barely survived a berserker by kiting it into a nearby bear, but was burnt to a crisp by one of the shamans. π€·ββοΈ
After mopping up the village, I set sail for my next little project. I am going to pay Brenna a visit soon.

#valheim spent hours last session building a home for the bronze age. Wanted enough space for regular cooking, cauldron, mead kettle, workbench, forge & all their little addons.
Loaded up today & realised I've made The House, from whenever you drew a house in primary school.

Had something odd happen in #Valheim when I was repairing a building in a swamp.
There was a bench sitting on a balcony sort of thing, only problem I wasn't able to click on it, just everything around it!

Inspite of going through lots of swamp biomes in #Valheim I am yet to find any Surtlings. Getting to be a bit annoying!

Finally, some nerdy fun today. In #valheim,, I tamed my first lox, My daughter named it Fluffy. No punny names today I guess.
Hmmm... If I ever tame a second Lox, I'll call it My Little Punny. Or Artax for my next swamp expedition.

I consider this game like a sand mandala, where one creates intricate patterns of coloured sand, then wipe them away, to meditate on impermanence and the importance of not becoming attached to material possessions.
One creates a beautiful world, only to wipe it away and start fresh.

Finding Moder was easy, but he was at the other side of the map.. I had to travel through swamps, plains, and skirted around mistlands to get to him.. But lucky there were all the eggs I needed to summon him.. Died a few times, but firearrows for the win, and my axes of course..
