My entire life is a testament to this:

“Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8

Whenever I have asked for anything and been sure I would receive it, I have received it. Call it the law of attraction or positive intention, whatever, it's REAL and it works. Don't ask for something and then say, "that will never happen"; in doing so, you forfeit your prayer. Open your heart, relax into the protection of your higher power, pray with faith (in whatever your tradition or belief), and be grateful *on the spot* for receiving your request, as if you already have it. Then you will have it. Trust me.
