One day I'm going to write a book about being an abolitionist navigating our fucking justice system.
Or maybe just a thread about the hilarity of having to force the cops to do their job, which shouldn't exist in the fucking first place, and how a pissy "officer in charge" low-key threatened me TWICE during his initial call — which OF FUCKING COURSE I RECORDED, NUMBNUTS, and it's in several safe places, with a variety of people, oh hey! maybe I should play that for the Crown — then apparently hasn't been doing that job (that shouldn't exist) in keeping me apprised. Shocker.
If he was angry about the last round of phone calls, I don't think he will enjoy the next round very much at all. A 5 minute conversation with me could have saved so much time and money, but no, cops gotta cop. And cops gotta go.
I can't even imagine what navigating the shit show would be like for somebody whose end goal wasn't transformative justice.
