Cannot imagine what it is like to do this, day after day, & still keep going, to do what you can, as a medical professional… : “ I watched people die of vaccine preventable disease in ‘21-22. I hospitalized flu patients this fall who didn’t vaccinate. I’ve listened to people cling to false hope that avoiding seed oils will cure their cancer. ”
To say ‘Thank you’ is so inadequate, but it’s all I can do from the other side of the world (I am in Australia). So sorry. Thank you. 🙏🏻#USPol #publicHealth #immunisationWorks #Medicos #prevention #vaccinePreventableDisease

This article may contain useful information but it has a misleading headline and does not give the whole picture...
"This ancient disease still kills 1 million people every year. - A new generation of drugs promised salvation from hepatitis B and C. What went wrong?"
First 👉 why the word "ancient"? It is irrelevant.🙄 Many human diseases have been around a long time.
Second 👉 #hepatitisB and #hepatitisC are NOT the same disease at all. One is a double-stranded #DNA virus and the other is a single-stranded #RNA virus. Conflating them just confuses the reader.
Third 👉 hepatitis B is a #VaccinePreventableDisease. The best way to deal with it is to VACCINATE people, not treat people that did not need to get it in the first place.

This information is not new. There is no vaccine for hepatitis C, so #PublicHealth measures and #drug #treatment are the only options.

I just got a message from the Kansas health department that several cases of suspected #mumps is in our state and how to test and report if we suspect mumps.
This is where we are.
