To anyone who needs to hear it: get a house sitter or don't post vacation stuff online until you're back. Otherwise you'll just be telling burglars "hey! no one's home, great moment to break in" 🤡.

Nice! I found a house sitter and dog sitter for my vacation end of the year. That's generally the hardest to get settled, so it's nice to have it done so early 🏡🐶.

projects in the near future:
1. my mac-mini server runs ubuntu server and need apps. I'm thinking about Heimdall and a next cloud instance that I can reach via tailscale. I will also use it as an exit node for my tailscale network.
2. Making the server sleep when not in use and use an old RPi to 'wake it up' also over tailscale.
3. Making a portable router out of a Radxa Rock 4c that also use tailscale as a vpn alternative using the exit node.

Put in a regular work day today so I can take it as a floating holiday later in the year. My plan is to maximize my time off in full weeks this year and take the two week leading to Dec 25th off. Definitely going somewhere warm this Spring and somewhere cold this Summer. #flyaway #vacationplans
