I try to scan a few of his negs every time I do a roll of my own (infrequently, I'm not a big 120 user).
I think, to do this way is a good idea, Chris.Haha, nearly 15 years ago I head a Plustek (7200? can't exactly remember) film scanner, too. But, I went back to my old #Epson #V350 (sold by Epson for a short time only), because it had an motorized film feeder for 35mm and it gave scanning masks for up to 6x9 negatives.
In retrospect, I'm annoyed that I sold the V350 back then. The successor, the #V370, on the other hand, is so inferior that I regularly get upset about it.
Maybe I'll look for a used Epson V500 or something later. Medium format, historical or current, fascinates me. Somehow.
