Next to general showcases and design iterations encouraging and motivating devs to ask for short showcases for specific hand-overs is a great way to check on designs again before they get implemented.

Good morning everyone. Again a very sunny day here in Valais. Working from home again and typically Thursday is the last day of my working week but tomorrow I will join my team for a co-working session in Bern. 👩💻
Will start the day with some tea and a short walk through the village. Afterwards going back to work and improve the low-fi prototypes for our redesign.

You're called individual contributor but you cannot do things on your own. Great products or features are made by teams where all things come together and as an individual you're an important part of it.

Simple but effective ways to conduct user research:
- Participate as a silent observer in onboarding or training sessions for users.
- Schedule a user interview every now and then and get a 20-minute explanation of how a user uses the product and where they have difficulties.
- Use the feedback from the customer success team.

Today someone apologized because there was an ongoing discussion about a feature we want to implement last week and the outcomes mean that I have to redesign some stuff.
Yes, it's more work and will take longer. But we're in time with our new MVP, development isn't affected (yet) and the user will benefit from the new findings.
That doesn't need an apologies, we need more of these insightful discussions to better iterate on our products!

Back home after an amazing #workation week with temperatures far below 0°C, but lots of sun, lots of cross-country skiing and lots of work.
Started the day back home with a 10k run and enjoyed 6°C and the warming sun around Sion. ☀️🏃♀️

Sprint meetings are a great way to connect as a product designer with developers. Even if you cannot contribute in each meeting with designs, it's helpful to know where a project stands, what technical issues arise and how you as a team could solve them.
The best thing to do as a product designer ➡️ talk to developers.
