    💁🏻‍♀️ TIL: ☀️🧴 A #JAMA #Dermatology meta-analysis pooled 17 studies covering more than 321,000 people and found that a history of painful, blistering sunburns raised the odds of squamous cell carcinoma by 51% to 69%, with severe #childhood burns linked to up to three times the risk.

    Researchers caution that the evidence is uncertain because it relies on people recalling past burns. The study reinforces #sun protection such as Slip, Slop, Slap for #kids and #teens.
