The Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter is rallying May 18 against APS's proposed 14% rate increase and "formula rates" which would let APS raise rates annually without ACC oversight. Third increase in five years, as APS backs off clean energy and adds 2,000 MW of methane gas. Rally at 9 AM, public comment at 10.

The corp whores at so-called public utility, Portland General Electric (PGE), were granted an outrageous 17% rate increase by the rubber-stamp PUC of Portland, OR. That staggering increase begins to appear in citizen's electric bills January 1.
And yet those same regulatory geniuses are always publically stumped about what the causes & cures might be for the homeless crisis.
