It’s an understatement to say “putting more emphasis on id(.)me.”

It will soon (October, I think) become the ONLY way to login to treasurydirect(.)gov. Even login(.)gov will not be accepted — which seems counterintuitive.

Sounds as if you’ve had some positive experience w/ id(.)me. Reassuring but I don’t understand why they’re using a third-party PRIVATE contractor for authentication at #USgovernment, #UStreasury sites. Maybe some palms were greased? Too cynical?
