Picked up a Hisense 120in UST projector… gotta say I’m loving it. The picture is ridiculously crisp. Fiddly as getting the screen set up and the picture set right, but worth the effort.
Also started making a cabinet for it so it would not be in the way of the Sennheiser Ambeo… the “40w Dolby Atmos” speakers in the projector are the worst… but given we have the Ambeo we weren’t needing the projector to supply the sound.
In Australia we don’t get the GoogleTV OS instead Hisense’s own, but not fussed as the Apple TV will be the main source.
The cabinet is a long way from finished, needs a front, and some paint and stain… but it’s coming along nicely.
