I'm not really feeling the new Referee Review System in #MajorLeagueRugby. I think the previous TMO system had more camera angles and produced better reviews. I'm on the fence with the team challenges. Calling the challenge at a specific clock time and within 2 phases seems like it would be disruptive to players' focus if there's no stoppage in that time. Having the TMO call into the ref to point out something that was missed seems more consistent and less disruptive.

#USAMensEagles have named their squad for the July test matches. With 28 of the 32 players coming from #USMLR, representing 10 of the 11 franchises (only LA is missing), I'm excited to see how well we can do.

Really frustrated with #USMLR communication. Both the league and teams post things exclusively on Twitter and meta social media platforms. The #HoustonSaberCats vs #RFCLA match is postponed due to lightning, but updates on the weather delays were hard to find without Instagram or Twitter. If you're an #MLR fan here on Mastodon, please join me in giving the league some constructive feedback. Even if they just add these notices to the MLR mobile app that would be an improvement.

As a #HoustonSaberCats fan I'm not really sure who to subversively "root" for between #UtahWarrirors and #SeattleSeawolves. We have a better season record against Utah, but Seattle would be a home game for us, but we're like 0-3 in home playoff matches, but Utah is the number 1 team coming into the playoffs.

I find myself in the unlikely position of rooting for #NOLAGold as they host the #UtahWarriors. Denying Utah a win keeps #HoustonSaberCats at the top of the table. The western conference is crazy tight this year. With only 2 matches left for each team after this weekend and there's only 8 points separating 1st and last place. Only a 2 point difference sets the cutoff for the postseason.
