I will definitely cause a scene if they try to put off treatment for another visit, which is this healthcare center's MO. Also, shame on my healthcare provider for sending important information to me via their "MyChart" online service. I checked in today for the first time since November to discover that my blood work way back then was showing liver issues. Two months later, I have to worry about liver issues until I get home late next month and can get some fresh blood work done.🙄 #USHealthcareSucks

Ok, going in for a cardiac MRI with multiple possible complicating factors (insulin pump, sensitive kidneys, implanted defibrillator)

This info has been discussed in multiple prep calls, and also exists in my medical records, which the imaging department has access to.

Who wants to bet whether the technicians will still be totally shocked and confused by these factors because no information ever got passed on to them?

Not to just open up with a grouch, but I would really, really, love to see some statistics on whether the ridiculous set of restrictions around ADHD medications have done anything—anything at all—to affect abuse levels.

The current shortage of those medications is expected to last through 2024, and I for one do not expect to still be employed by 2025 if I've got to go a year without being functional.

Got mail from my daughter's dentist that as of September 1, she will no longer be an in-network provider for Premera, the insurance we are with. So we will have to either pay more or find another dentist. This is one of the problems with healthcare in the US. We'd be much better off with a unified national system like every other civilized country has.
