A little over a year ago I followed a short evening course on "Getting to know your sewing machine". Combine this with a bad bout of the flu and endless YT time watching videos of Kate at The Last Homely House and you find me cutting up an old unused towel to make some new cleaning cloths.

First project of the new year:

Replace my sweaty and broken plastic watch strap with one made of nylon (or whatever plastic this is). Turns out my dad had some 20 mm strap laying around, so it was just to get to it.

Took the pins and clasp from the old strap.

No sewing necessary, apart from the velcro to keep the strap end in place. Instead I used heat to weld the pieces together and to make the necessary holes.
