I wish there would be end-to-end encrypted, federated micro-blog social media. Social media entries and media aren't stored in plain text, but rather encrypted on the server, and only users who have subscribed to them have the ability to decrypt it.

Has Gnome stopped kind-of remembering where windows go?

My #Tuba window for #Mastodon is narrow and goes on the left. I'm sure Cawbird used to re-open in the same place as I left it. Months later, Tuba remembers its size but not its position. It always opens a couple of inches in from the side.

But then sometimes Firefox opens and it WILL push up to the left-hand side. Even though I never put it there.
